Su “Gli specchi della poesia”

none1noIn this article I take into exam Luciano Anceschi’s last systematic work, Gli specchi della poesia (1989), dedicated to the question concerning the aesthetics of poetry, in general, and the manifold relations between “reflection, poetry, criticism” (as the book’s subtitle says). In particular, I focus my attention on just one of the many questions addressed by Anceschi in this book, namely that concerning the existence of different forms of knowledge and, among them, a specific kind of artistic (here: poetic) truth. After briefly sketching the way the Western philosophical tradition has dealt, in general, with such intriguing questions, I analyze Gli specchi della poesia and emphasize the relevance and topicality of Anceschi’s antireductionist approach to the question of knowledge and the relation between philosophy and poetry.noneS.
